Van driver’s assistant

Get out and about while making a real difference!  Join our transport team and help collect and deliver donated goods that directly support our charity shops and services!

Every journey helps turn donations into vital income and practical support for people experiencing homelessness.

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting the driver with loading and unloading items safely
  • Helping collect donations from members of the public

  • Delivering goods to customers or service locations

  • Handling furniture and larger items safely and carefully

  • Providing a friendly and positive experience when interacting with the public

  • Assisting the driver to locate addresses

What you will gain:

We’re flexible around your availability. Ideally, you can volunteer at least one day per week. We offer morning and evening slots, with the morning being 9am – 1230pm and the afternoon being 12pm-4pm. Due to the nature of the role we do require prompt arrival times.
