Cafe Helpers

We are looking for volunteers to help in the café on a Wednesday & a Friday, taking orders for food, making and serving drinks and keeping the area clean and tidy at all times.

Also, occasionally assisting with washing up in the kitchen. Other duties will include setting up the café area and clearing up at the end of the day.

What skills do I need?

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility with a team approach
• A genuine interest in people and empathy with older people
• Ideally, although not essential, previous experience of working with people in a cafe and showing a supportive & caring capacity
• A basic understanding of, and a willingness to learn about, keeping yourself and others safe while performing the role.

When do I need to be available?
