Fundraising Assistant Volunteer

Carers Support West Sussex

At Carers Support, you can make a real difference by helping us build links in the local community and raise awareness of our charity.

We are looking for a Fundraising Assistant Volunteer to support our fundraising work within the local community.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about fundraising while supporting carers in the community.

Role Expectations:

This role is initially remote. You will contact a list of local community partners and potential donors to introduce our charity, share what we do, and help raise awareness of our services. Once those connections have been established, there may be opportunities to meet with or present to partners who are interested in donating to us or supporting our services through donations in kind.

Training and Support:

You will receive training and support to help you feel confident in the role, including:

  • Volunteer induction and role-specific training
  • Safeguarding and GDPR training
  • Fundraising guidance and ongoing support
  • Access to additional training opportunities, where available and relevant

Equipment Needed

As this role is initially remote, you will need:

  • Access to a computer or laptop
  • Internet access for meetings and training
  • Use of the Volunteero app

Skills and Attributes Required:
