We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help prepare meals for people using our services.

Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, your time in the kitchen will have a direct and positive impact to our clients who rely on us for support.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing and cooking simple and nutritious meals for our clients
  • Ensuring food is served safely and on time
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
  • Carrying out a thorough clean-down after service

What skills do I need?

  • Basic cooking skills (nothing fancy required!)
  • Someone comfortable working independently in a small kitchen
  • An awareness of food hygiene (training provided)
  • Experience cooking in groups is helpful, but not essential

We are flexible around your availability. Ideally you can offer at least one day a week. Shifts typically involve a couple of hours for cooking, plus time to setting up and cleaning down. Breakfast - Start at 9am Lunch - Start at 12pm
